You've just completed another amazing year at the University of Leicester. Now join us to celebrate the end of the academic year and the beginning of summer, with a programme of arts, crafts, food, and some incredible student performers. Leicester Fiesta is our grand finale. It’s also your chance to find support for over the vacation period.

Thursday 30 May - Fielding Johnson Lawn

For a more relaxed atmosphere, head to the Fielding Johnson Lawn from 12.00pm, where you will be serenaded with classical music and spoken word.

Get creative

  • Become a circus performer: create giant bubbles, diablo, hoop and juggle.
  • Stand out in the crowd with your own flower garland headdress.
  • Decorate your room by making your own bunting.
  • Get that festival feel with glitter face paint.
  • Make your own pottery creation to take away with you.
  • Join the Origami Society to create decorative shapes and figures.
  • Have a go at being a cheerleader – pom poms provided! (2.00pm-3.00pm).

Save the planet

  • Get your dry food essentials – including pasta, rice, oats, and mixed fruit – at our zero-waste pop up shop – bring a container and some cash.
  • Contribute to our plastic artwork to raise awareness of plastic waste.
