Leicester Fiesta

The University of Leicester and Attenborough Arts Centre bring you our arts and culture celebration Leicester Fiesta for a second year, but this time online! Come together virtually, learn something new and celebrate a week filled with arts and culture, originating both internally and externally.

Gut Bacteria: Mental Health and Wellbeing

Date: Weds, 17 June
Time: 12 pm - 1.30 pm
Speaker: Professor Phil Burnet, University of Oxford
The speaker will talk about how probiotics (live cultures of beneficial bacteria) and prebiotics (dietary fibres that proliferate indigenous beneficial bacteria) can reduce anxiety and improve cognitive function, and so may assist in the treatment of psychiatric disorders.

People who previously registered will have received an email from me with details of the webinar link and don't need to register again. If they didn't get the email, they should register again at Eventbrite.
