Join us for the launch of the first-ever University of Leicester Yellow Book.

The Yellow Book is a positive, creative resource created for mental health and wellbeing. It’s been created in conjunction with Rethink Your Mind. It includes tips and images designed to help people going through difficult moments.

To celebrate the book, we’ll be throwing a launch event, featuring an exhibition of the 30 chosen text/artwork finalists, as well as a free drinks reception and music from Refuse. Attendees will be able to pick up a free copy of the book.

The Yellow Book has been created using photography, art, poetry and illustrations submitted by students and staff inspired by #IFeelBetterWhen. It’s been designed as a source of inspiration and support for everyone who at any time experiences mental health struggles.

The launch begins Friday 15 March at 5.00pm at Attenborough Arts Centre.

In addition, Dr. Marie Nugent - who led on the project alongside Karolin Kroese and Julian Harrison - will be discussing the philosophy behind the book on BBC Radio Leicester at 10.30am Friday morning.
