As a social entrepreneur and intellectual property solicitor, George brings a wealth of expertise to our team of Entrepreneurs in Residence.

The School of Business are pleased to welcome George Neris to the Entrepreneurs in Residence team.

George is a social entrepreneur and intellectual property solicitor. His vision is to foster creativity and inspire an entrepreneurial spirit in everyday people. He founded artFix (link to artfix.org.uk) which is a combination of a workspace, a learning centre, a popup venue and a coffeehouse. We sat down with George over coffee to find out more about his journey as an entrepreneur and what advice he would give to someone trying to kick start a new business idea. Entrepreneurs in Residence is a service open to staff, students and alumni (of all disciplines) to meet with successful local entrepreneurs, to find out how to run your own business. We have a number of appointments available from May-June to discuss your current or future business plans. Whether you have an idea still in its infancy or a fully-fledged business plan, all are welcome to make the most of this service. Appointments can be face-to-face, by telephone or Skype, and are 45 minutes in duration.

Here’s what previous attendees say:
