Welcome Week is here

It’s the time of year when campus comes alive and we welcome thousands of new students to the University of Leicester.

We’ve introduced a number of initiatives aimed at making registration as easy as possible for our new students. Introduced last year, you can again register and pick up their identification at their halls of residence. We’ve also made sure that timetables are available well before the start of term, thanks to our Personalised Calendar Services project. You can find this at www.le.ac.uk/my-timetable.

During the first week you will be able to complete your registration and receive your ID card, International students will need to do this on campus (times available here), but Home undergraduate students are now able to do this in their hall of residence.

The Welcome Team will be on campus from 8am on Saturday 21 September and throughout the weekend there will be campus tours, an information fair and living in the UK talks for international students.

We will be running the official Matriculation welcome ceremonies at De Montfort Hall on Monday 23 September. Matriculation is a your official welcome to the University and all undergraduate first year, foundation year and Study Abroad students are invited as part of their induction timetable.
