Watch an Indie film and get a free drink at the Phoenix
Running throughout March the Phoenix Indie Film Month promotion encourages people to watch one of seven smaller-budget indie films at Phoenix and tell their friends on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #phoenixindiefilms.
All you need to do is why you plan to see the film, or what you thought of it afterwards, in order to claim a free pint of Everards’ Tiger beer, a St Martin’s Coffee or soft drink at the Phoenix Café Bar.
The seven films are Orthodox, The Survivalist, Goodnight Mommy, The Here After, Disorder, The Witch and Rattle the Cage. Full film details, and terms and conditions are at phoenix.org.uk/indiefilms
The Survivalist is screening this weekend (Friday 11 to Tuesday 15 March) so why not go along, support independent filmmaking and get yourself a free drink.
“We screen hundreds of excellent smaller budget movies every year, few of which benefit from the enormous publicity enjoyed by blockbusters,” said Jake Harvey, Phoenix film programmer.
“We’re asking indie films lovers to spread the word about these lower budget gems amongst their friends on social media. In return, we’ll give them a free drink to enjoy with their film from our partners at Everards Brewery and St Martin’s Coffee.”
