Submit images of your work to a new research images competition
The College of Science and Engineering is holding a competition to challenge researchers to explain their work using just an image and a short description. They hope that it will give an insight into the wide range of the University of Leicester research activity and the way that makes a difference to both society and other wider beneficiaries.
The competition is open to research staff, PG students and academics and they are asked to submit an image and associated description of no more than 100 words to show why their research matters.
There are various categories in which the entries will be judged including the best overall entry, the best image, the best description as well as a vote from a display planned for a suitable gallery space (Curve or Attenborough). All entries should be sent to Sue Howell (skh14@le.ac.uk). The competition will close on 14th October 2016 at midnight.
