Submissions Open for Sustainability Conference
The Sustainable Development Goals were first introduced by the United Nations in 2015. Global world leaders agreed to 17 goals to make for a better world by 2030. Since then, the University has committed to ensuring they’re part of our own Social Impact Strategy.
If you know this then you may have been part of one of our projects to support sustainability. We now want you to be part of Research in Action – our second annual student conference taking place 29 May.
We’re actively looking for submissions from students. The event is a chance to present projects or work in creative, interactive and innovative ways, showcasing engagement with the sustainable development goals. We will be featuring a keynote speaker and special guests to inspire us all.
At this stage, all you need is a passion for the SDG's and an idea.
The deadline is 29 March. Please submit a brief proposal to declare interest.
Applications are welcome from individuals or societies, related to academic or social projects at the University. For any questions, please message Alice Jackson on Facebook or by email: amj42@le.ac.uk
