Standing Together for the Community

Come along to our bystander awareness sessions, aimed at promoting and protecting our university community through bystander intervention.

Challenging unacceptable behaviours can be difficult, so we are putting on a series of sessions aimed at giving you the skills and confidence to tackle inappropriate behaviour when you see it.

These 90 minute sessions focus on the communities we all survive and thrive in at the University of Leicester. They will highlight the importance of working together to challenge and intervene when you see unacceptable behaviours, and will support you in becoming or continuing to be an active bystander.

The sessions will be held on:

  • 2 December at Opal Court from 6.30-8pm
  • 4 December in Charles Wilson 408 from 1-2.30pm
  • 5 December at Nixon Court from 6.30-8pm

For more information on this and other student safety and wellbeing initiatives take a look at our Standing Together website. You can get in touch with the team by emailing standingtogether@leicester.ac.uk.
