An expert from Technische Universität Berlin will look at this controversial and fascinating area.

The public seminar on Anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism and criticism of Israel as a discursive field is being given by Dr Peter Ullrich from the (Centre for Technology and Society, Centre for Research on Anti-Semitism) on Wednesday 15 March from 4.30-6pm in the Ken Edwards Ground Floor Lecture Theatre 3.

Anti-Semitism as well as anti-Zionism and criticism of Israel and the relations between those concepts are topics of harsh political and scholarly debates and this talk will attempt to put these debates into a wider context, looking at the distinction of anti-Semitism as a problem and as a symbol.

This lecture is hosted by the Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies together with the Division of Management and Organisation, School of Business.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. For more information contact Dr Fabian Frenzel on ff48@le.ac.uk.
