A new scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate students on a full-time business-related degree to apply for.

The Entrepreneur Scholarship is sponsored by Xero, providers of online accounting software.  As Xero knows the contribution of startups and small businesses to the UK economy, they’re offering one UK student £2,000 towards a business-related degree to help them along the road to success on their entrepreneurial journey.

They are also offering mentoring sessions, a free subscription to Xero for 12 months and financial management skills coaching with Xero senior business leaders

In order to apply for the scholarship you must be a UK resident and enrolled full time on a Business related degree (including Accounting, Economics & Finance) at a recognised UK university. The award is open to both undergraduates and postgraduates.

In order to apply for the scholarship, you will need to write an up to 700 word essay on how the scholarship could help you work toward or develop an entrepreneurial idea. You will need to have proof of achieving at least ABB grade or above in A Levels or an equivalent alternative qualification. And you will need a letter of recommendation.

All you need to do then is submit your application to submissionsUK@xero.com before 19 July 2016. More information is available on the Xero website.
