Preparations for our new Digital Reading Room

Posted by rmt22 at Nov 02, 2017 08:10 PM |
As part of the digital campus transformation we are creating a new digital reading room on the ground floor of the David Wilson Library.

The Digital Reading Room will be an interactive social learning space where students and staff can explore the digital world at the University of Leicester.

More than just a traditional reading room, this is your space to discover, collaborate and share your ideas online and in person.

With a showcase interactive table and wall, you will be able to explore the library archive, investigate research projects, share your thoughts and discover the potential offered by our Digital Campus. Or you can just use the range of plug-and-play workstations within the room to continue working between lectures or meetings.

Within the room our digital champions will help you get the most out of your time there, and really enhance your work.

While work is carried out to transform the space, the ground floor Reading Room will be temporarily closed, from Monday 5 November to the middle of January 2018. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

More information will follow, meanwhile if you have any queries or comments please contact Jo Aitkins via library@leicester.ac.uk
