Nominations open for the University of Leicester Student Awards 2017

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognised?

The University of Leicester Student Awards 2017 recognises and celebrates the outstanding contribution students make to the University life, and nominations are now open.

Taking place on Wednesday 7 June and presented by the University of Leicester Student’s Union and the Career Development Service, the event celebrates the extensive talents of our students during the academic year 2016-17.

The glamorous awards ceremony will also see Ali Imdad, runner up in series four of the Great British Bake Off and School of Management graduate, as the keynote speaker.

The student awards is a great platform to be acknowledged for the outstanding achievements outside your degree including; graduate internships, volunteering, enterprise, part-time work, student representation and the Leicester Award, as well as boosting your own CV.

All University of Leicester staff and students are welcome to nominate individual students or student groups, with a range of individual and student group awards there are plenty of opportunities for you get involved. Students can also nominate themselves!

To top it all off, the President and Vice-Chancellor’s Student of the Year Award will be given to the “best of the best” from all of the individual categories.
