New and improved MyUoL app now available

The University of Leicester student mobile app, MyUoL has been upgraded with new features introduced.

What’s new?

There are three new features:

  1. The News Room – featuring University announcements from the existing news feeds
  2. Video – informational videos streamed to the app from the Video tile
  3. Maps – improved campus maps (from www.le.ac.uk/maps)

The ‘look and feel’ of the app should stay the same, so you’ll be able to use the app for all the things you did previously.

Student Wellbeing

During the start of term, student wellbeing will be supported on the MyUoL app, with the inclusion of an app called MyWellbeing. MyWellbeing helps you to thrive in your university life. Empowering you to make positive, healthy changes to your wellbeing. From the physical, to mental, social and financial, and through a range of resources, tools and opportunities. Its aim is a promote a sense of belonging by connecting you with the rest of the UoL community.

Install the app

If you’ve not installed the MyUoL app on your phone before, head over to the download our apps page on the University website for more information.

You can also use the MyUoL desktop app which just requires a web browser. All you have to do is eEnter your University email address and password to access.

Get the update

If you have the MyUoL app already installed on your phone, the update should install automatically. You can check the iOS App store or Google Play store to see if the update is waiting to be installed.
