Take a minute away from studying.

With the examination period in full swing, you may find yourself putting an emphasis on studying and less time on managing your wellbeing. It’s great to focus on doing the best you can during this time, but balance is key. We want to provide you with book recommendations and activities or events to get involved in to enable you to take time out for you.

Firstly, The University of Leicester Library have been posting on their social media a few books that have been recommended by you, a part of their Represent campaign to diversify their collections. See a list below of books to check out when you have a spare minute, all available from the David Wilson Library.

  1. Dust by Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor
  2. The Starless Sea by Erin Morgensteirn
  3. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
  4. An American Marriage by Tayari Jones
  5. Oh My Gods by Alexandra Sheppard
  6. The End of Time by Gavin Extence
  7. Finding My Voice by Nadia Hussain
  8. Do You Dream Of Terra-Two? By Temi Oh
