Live class and resources to help you stay in the present moment

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness involves being aware of the present moment rather than being caught up in thoughts about what has happened or what may happen. It's also about observing your thoughts and feelings without judgment. By taking a few moments for yourself, you can feel calmer, with more focus, and finding peace of mind.

Live mindfulness sessions

As part of the Life in Lockdown programme, be introduced to the art of mindfulness and offered a safe space to explore your thoughts and cultivate awareness, compassion and freedom in our live sessions. These are online on Monday 7 and 14 December, 5.30pm-6.00pm, run by our Student Support Services; access them with this link. Please wear comfy clothes and find a quiet space to join the session. You may need a notebook, cushions and a blanket.
