Join us as we celebrate the end of the academic year and the beginning of summer on 29 and 30 May.

You will soon have completed this chapter of your university journey, and Leicester Fiesta is the grand finale. With a range of performances and activities taking place across two days, this is your chance to relax, prepare and enjoy the remaining time before the summer vacation.

On Wednesday 29 May, a range of support from key services will be available to you, to help you make the most of summer. From welfare workshops and a CV clinic to the library’s book swap event, this is when you get to prepare for the transition to whatever your next step is. It is also the day of the Research in Action conference, which celebrates your contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Enjoy a range of talks and workshops, including a keynote speech from Extinction Rebellion.

Thursday 30 May is when campus comes alive with art, music and performance. Our student groups have achieved some incredible things this year and now is your chance to get involved. Centenary Square will play host to performers such as Band and Gig, Cheer and Stunt, Asian Dance and Big Band, while there will be a range of arts and crafts activities on the Fielding Johnson lawn. Here you will also find classical music and a schedule of spoken work performances.

Head over to www.le.ac.uk/leicester-fiesta for the full schedule of activities and join us on campus as we celebrate the end of another amazing year at Leicester.
