This free afternoon of talks and displays will showcase the fantastic work of disabled staff and students.

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an initiative that has been run by the UN since 1992. Join us at Attenborough Arts Centre on Friday 1 December between 2.30 and 7.30pm for a day of special talks introduced by Kate Williams, Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Equality and Diversity and hear from Disabled Go and artist Caroline Bowditch.

The winners of our student photo competition held by Leicester Students’ Union will be announced followed by a host of short films including Life on Two Spectrums, Like a Star, and Trapped Rhythms.

The event is free of charge, but you will need to book your place via the Attenborough Arts Centre box office by calling 0116 252 2455 or emailing arts-centre@le.ac.uk.
