Interfaith Event – Tuesday 14 November

We are celebrating all faiths and sharing our experiences as part of Interfaith Week.

Interfaith Week is celebrated from Sunday 12 to Sunday 19 November and recognises the work and contributions of all faith groups in our multicultural society. Interfaith Week aims to promote discussion, collaboration and integration between different faith groups and encourage everyone to discover more about different faiths and religions.

To celebrate the diversity of different faiths in the UK’s most diverse city, we are pleased to be collaborating with the interfaith St Phillip’s Centre in Evington to welcome students of all faiths, including none, to Queen’s Hall on Tuesday 14 November. The event will take about an hour and will begin at midday before being repeated at 1.00 for students who couldn’t quite make the earlier session.

During the Interfaith Event, speakers from different faiths will talk about their initiatives, such as support for the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. Students will also learn about how you can get involved with the local community through faith-based events and organisations.

Did we mention there is free pizza? 🍕
