Hungry for Change? Help the Social Impact Team!

The perfect chance to learn the difference between growing a carrot and a parsnip.

The Social Impact Team are eager for new volunteers to shape the food growing allotment at Brookfield on London Road – only a 10 min walk from campus.

It's a chance for veterans to share green-fingered expertise and for newcomers to learn about the art of vegetable growing. It's also a chance to get some fresh air between lectures or work.

There's no commitment needed as the sessions are run on a flexible, drop-in basis. This means you can stay for 30 minutes or 3 hours. You can log your volunteer hours, which will look great on your CV!

The sessions are run every Wednesday afternoon 1.00pm-4.00pm.
