Help shape our digital learning environment of the future

We are looking for staff and students to tell us what they think about digital learning environments such as Blackboard and what they would like to see in the future.
In line with our Learning Strategy for 2016-20, we are keen to ensure that our online/digital environment provides as good a space for learning and teaching as our physical environment. As student and staff needs change, online spaces and services are changing too, and it is important that we match these two sides together to create the best environment for learning and teaching that we can imagine.

We are currently investigating and analysing the needs of students and staff in this area, and assessing the current and future provision in online learning. These investigations will inform our future digital learning environment, and any changes we might make over the next few years.

The LLI is therefore keen to find out your needs in this area: whether a student or member of staff. Your first opportunity to get involved is via a short questionnaire, linked below. Further opportunities, including design workshops later in November to which you can sign up in the survey, will become available in the coming months.

The survey shouldn't take more than five minutes to complete and is open until 26 November 2016.

Student Survey

The data you provide us with here will contribute to a vital body of evidence. Through this and other student and staff surveys, from an analysis of current activity across our learning environment, and from a series of workshops, we are building a set of core requirements for our future digital learning environment.
