Drop-in and bookable clinics available across Leicester and Leicestershire

If you are 18+ in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19 or are due your second dose you can grab-a-jab this weekend (Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July) at several drop-in and bookable clinics. Extra clinics have been arranged to make it as easy as possible for you to protect yourself and others against the virus before restrictions lift on Monday 19 July.

If you have had your first dose at least eight weeks ago can attend the clinics to have their second dose of the same vaccine.
Caroline Trevithick, Executive Director of Nursing, Quality and Performance at the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland CCGs, said: “As the restrictions lift on Monday, and with the virus still being a concern, it is important that we remain cautious. The more people who have the vaccine, the better our chance of beating the virus. It is more than about protecting yourself. Many people with COVID-19 don’t have symptoms and the vaccine will help prevent you from spreading it without knowing, particularly to those who might be vulnerable and more likely to be hospitalised."

You can attend a drop-in clinic even if they aren’t registered with a GP or they don’t have an NHS number.

Find out the dates and times of the drop-in and bookable clinics on the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group website. The clinics are not organised by the University of Leicester.
