Mathematics Help Centre open Monday to Friday, 3-6pm, in the library

The Mathematics Help Centre provides face-to-face support with mathematics and statistics related queries and problems. The Centre is open between 3-6pm, Monday to Friday, in the consultations room on the ground floor of the David Wilson Library (just past the book returns area). There is no need to book a session - just turn up.

You will need to bring with you any notes, questions, examples of work, assignment details etc. that will help the tutors to understand your query. It is also important to bring evidence of your attempts to manage the work for yourself before you attend the drop-in centre.

You can get advice no matter what department you in and we will advise you on skills and techniques. All meetings will be confidential.

We cannot do or check your coursework, offer an opinion on how a piece has been marked, or advise on matters such as mitigating circumstances. Whilst we will try to help in any way we can, there may be cases where we advise you speak directly to your subject tutor.

If you have any enquires about the Mathematics Help Centre you can contact
