First edition can be picked up from food outlets, common rooms and reception areas across campus

Frontier is a brand new magazine run by postgraduates for postgraduates. We want to raise awareness of the range of world-class research carried out at the university, and give students an opportunity to describe their research to a non-specialist audience. The first issue is out now and includes articles on post-apocalyptic cinema, zero-g testing, Roman jewellery, the Himalayas and the search for life signs on Mars. Let us know what you think at frontier@le.ac.uk.

You can pick up the first issue from the Percy Gee (Students’ Union) Building, the Graduate School Reading Room in the Library, the 1st floor café in Charles Wilson, and from common rooms and reception areas throughout the University. Alternatively, you can read it online by clicking here
