The MOOCs cover England in the time of King Richard III and Ethics in society.

The University is pleased to be able to offer MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses) for free to anyone who would like to learn more about a particular subject. All our MOOCs are curated by experts in their fields who are based at the University of Leicester and are delivered in partnership with Future Learn.

Monday 27 February is the start date for two MOOCs. England in the Time of King Richard III will offer participants the opportunity to discover more about the War of the Roses, Medieval warfare and the socio-economic landscape which lead to King Richard becoming the last English monarch to die in battle. People Studying People: Research Ethics in Society considers ethics and why they are so central to all research with public participation. Both courses last six weeks.
