Gain hands-on, voluntary experience, work with professional clients, and boost your skills, as you collaborate in teams as consultants to solve real issues as part of the Virtual Consultancy Challenge.

As a finalist who is graduating in July 2020, we’re here to help you to boost your CV despite COVID-19, with all tasks able to be completed from the comfort of your own home.

The winning team will receive £2,000, provided through our partnership with Santander.

Apply for the challenge today, with applications open between Monday 6 July and Friday 10 July. The four-week challenge takes place from Monday 20 July for four weeks, with a commitment of six to eight hours per week.

Whatever career path you are considering, the Virtual Consultancy Challenge is a great opportunity to develop your consultancy and project management skills, as well as working virtually.

As well as supporting you throughout the challenge, we’ll help you to develop and reflect on your experience, provide feedback on your presentation and review your CV.

Lara Burton, Project Manager (Finalists and Graduates) said: “Now more than ever, the challenge is a great way to gain valuable skills and experience, whatever your career plans. You’ll be connecting with businesses and finding creative solutions to real problems - giving you stand-out examples you can use on your CV and in future job interviews.”

Kristy Littlewood, Graduate Recruiter and University Partnerships Consultant, from employer FDM, who are taking part in the challenge, added: "“The Virtual Consultancy Challenge project is a fantastic way to engage with students over the summer period to continue to provide up-skilling opportunities and increase their employability. We are keen to continue to build the confidence and knowledge of students by applying their skills into a relevant project in a commercial context and are looking forward to the creative solutions they provide."

All you need to take part is a laptop/computer with a webcam and access to the internet.
