Come along to learn how to take full advantage of the digital tools available for learning and research.

The Leicester Learning Institute are organising a get-together for staff and students, designed to teach you everything you need to know about the digital tools available for academic study and research.

The following areas will be discussed:

  • Working with articles using Refworks and Mendeley
  • Using Google searches for information and creative common images.
  • Learning and Revision using Lecture Capture, Note-making tools and apps.
  • Useful apps for study.

There will be hands-on activities to take part in. The discussion will be used as the basis for a future exhibit on the Interactive Wall and Table in the Digital Reading Room.

The event takes place in the Digital Reading Room (entrance of David Wilson Library) between 12-1pm on Tuesday 26 Feb. No registration necessary, just drop by.
