Code First: Girls Spring 2019 Leicester Beginners Coding Course

Code First: Girls runs free in-person part-time coding courses for female/non binary identifying young individuals across the UK and Ireland.

Any female student at the University of Leicester (except Informatics students), graduate or under-grad, that might be interested to learn some coding skills are encouraged to apply. Students who pass the course will get a Code First: Girls certificate.

The level 1 beginners course introduces: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Git, GitHub collaboration, and more (Web front-end programming). Students do not need previous coding experience.

Course dates: Tuesdays, 5 February-26 March, 6.30-8.30pm
Location: University of Leicester

Applications close: Thursday 31 January.

The selected students are required to bring their own laptops. Please note that courses running are dependent on a minimum number of student applications and the venue availability. Whilst we endeavour to run each course, this is not something we can guarantee.
