Children of Change Art Competition: Looking Forward
“Show us what you see: what’s the view like where you are? Show us what you want to see: is there something you’re looking forward to after lockdown? Have you got big ideas for a better society, or visions of a far-off future? What do you see, looking forward?”
12 winning artworks will feature in the ‘Children of Change: Looking Forward’ 2021 wall calendar, as well as being displayed on campus in the Charles Wilson Building. Winners will also receive the following prizes:

- Secondary school age plus (12 - 18)
Four winning entries will be chosen from each age category.
Tips for photographing the artwork
- You should be able to get a good photo using a phone with a good quality camera, but if you have access to a digital camera this might be even better.
- Make sure the lighting is bright and even. Natural daylight is usually better than a camera flash, so try taking the photo outside if you don’t have enough light indoors.
- Hold the camera as steady as possible to avoid any blurring.
- Try taking a few photos from different angles – especially if your artwork is in three dimensions – and then you can decide which photo best represents it.
We’re looking forward to seeing your entries!
