For a feel-good way to improve your mental health and wellbeing, look no further.

Students and Staff - we’re calling on you to get involved and be part of the University of Leicester, BRIT 2021 Challenge Team!

The BRIT 2021 Challenge is an inclusive feel-good fundraiser to improve your personal mental health and fitness, all whilst raising vital funds to support young adult mental health.

Steve Bayley, the University of Leicester’s Sport Experience Officer Performance had this to say about the positive implications of getting involved: "I've always found that exercise makes me feel great after a busy working day. It makes me feel great, just healthy and active. I don't feel as tired or lethargic when I exercise and it makes me happy and content in myself.”

The Challenge is designed to be completed by individuals working as a team to cover the 2,021 mile distance by either:

  • Hand-cycling
  • Cycling
  • Wheelchair pushing
  • Swimming
  • Walking
  • Jogging
  • Running
  • Rowing
  • paddling (canoeing, kayaking or paddle-boarding)

The aim? To reach the University of Leicester's fundraising target of £2,021.00, either by taking part or donating between now and Thursday 1 July 2021.
