In these times, art is even more important to connect, share and create meaningful discussions. This art event will be hosted online. You will be walked through a selection of miniaturists, photographers and calligraphers from Uzbekistan, accompanied by music written for the event, to discover the rich cultural heritage and contemporary creativity of this country.

Bukhari: Islamic Art Exhibition is organised for the ESCR Social Science Festival, by University of Leicester, Dacore IT LLC, Imam Bukhari Scientific Research Centre in collaboration with LCB Depot.

Through this project we will celebrate diversity, explore Islamic art and history and discover the thinking of a prominent in Islamic Studies scholar like Imam al Bukhari.

This event is the curatorial launch of the exhibition, which will be available from 7 to 11 November 2020.
