Come along to our annual event organised by the Friends of the Botanic Garden.

We have officially kicked off our Centenary celebrations to mark 100 years of the University of Leicester, and what better way than to get involved in our next family friendly upcoming event.

Annually, the University hosts a plant sale at the Botanical Gardens in Oadby where visitors can enjoy specialist plant sales, free children’s and family activities, music, entertainment, art and craft stalls and demonstrations and ecology and wildlife groups and activities, all organised by the Friends of the Botanic Garden volunteers. This year, the event will be held on Sunday 12 September, 10.00am - 5.00pm.

The entrance fee on the day is £5 per adult and children are free. All proceeds made on the day will go toward funding additional facilities within the garden, so that it can continue to be enjoyed by students, staff and alumni of the University and the wider community.
