Baroness Sayeeda Warsi is a lawyer, businesswoman, campaigner and an ex-cabinet minister and is best known for being the first Muslim to serve in a British cabinet.

At this event, Sayeeda will reflect on the content of her book, ‘The Enemy Within? A Tale of Muslim Britain’. She will explore how British Muslims ended up being branded as ‘the enemy within,’ drawing on her own unique position in British life to explore questions of difference, surveillance, social justice, religious freedom, integration and the meaning of 'British values'.

Join us on Thursday 21 June from 6-8pm in the Peter Williams Lecture Theatre. This event is free and open to all; please book your place today.
