Employability sessions for international students

If you are an international student with English as a second or additional language, we've got an English for Employability course especially for you. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to create a UK style CV, develop a cover letter and prepare for interviews. Each week (on a Wednesday afternoon) there will be materials on Blackboard for you to work through, followed by a live Zoom session.

The sessions are co-delivered by the Career Development Service and the English Language Teaching Unit. You'll have the change to receive feedback on both your English language as well as key tools used throughout recruitment processes. ELTU courses and language supports are provided free of charge to current students of the University of Leicester.

Registration is open between Thursday 21 January until Monday 25 January, 4.00pm. Places are awarded on a first come, first served basis. The course starts on Wednesday 3 February, 2.00pm-3.00pm and runs for four weeks.
