Fairtrade Fortnight 2012: This year the Fairtrade Foundation is asking everyone to take a step for Fairtrade. During the course of the year they hope to collect 1.5million steps for Fairtrade – that’s one step for every Fairtrade producer they expect to work with.

IT disruption over Easter break
Celebrate Nowrooz (New Year) with Persian and Kurdish Societies, 20 March: The Kurdish and Persian Socities invite you to celebrate the Persian New Year or Nowruz with them next week. Discover more than 3,000 years of traditions, customs and festivity of Nowruz with music, Kurdish dance, and costumed characters, along with a Persian Bazaar offering exotic food, goods, arts and more... Free Admission. The event will take place on Tuesday 20 March 2012, between midday and 2.00pm, in the O2 Academy, Percy Gee Building. We hope to see all of you there.
