24 Hours of Reality: The facts about the Climate Crisis and what we can do

This fascinating free lecture on the Climate Crisis has an ecological bonus. A tree will be planted for every attendee.

Climate / atmospheric scientist Katherine Hayhoe famously said that the most important thing you can do (right now) to fight climate change is to talk about it. On November 20-21 Climate Reality is presenting 24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action, a global conversation on the truth of the climate crisis and how we solve it.

For one full 24-hour period, Climate Reality Leader volunteers trained by former Vice President Al Gore will hold public presentations and conversations on our changing climate in schools, community centres and workplaces around the world. The select group of trainees have a deep understanding of the latest climate change science, as well as best practices in public speaking, social media, leadership, communication, community outreach and organising.

Our talk will be led by guest speaker Natalie Roddis. Natalie was trained by former US Vice-President Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project Team to serve as a volunteer Climate Reality Leader. She is one of thousands of trained Climate Reality Leaders from over 135 countries who have been extraordinarily successful at reaching people in their communities and informing them about the global climate crisis and its solutions.

For each audience member who attends a presentation (and fills out the form), Climate Reality will plant one tree on their behalf, thanks to their friends at One Tree Planted. This will enable you as an audience to directly contribute to key reforestation projects that are helping to clean our air and water, store carbon and protect the planet for generations to come.
