University receives visit by Cultural Attaché of the Iraqi Embassy

Recently, the Cultural Attaché of the Iraqi Embassy, Professor Mosa Al Mosawe visited University of Leicester. He met the Registrar, Dave Hall, and senior representatives of most Colleges in the University, who gave presentations about their research and consultancy interests and priorities.

The visit also included visits to the Department of Engineering and the College of Medicine and Biological Sciences where the Cultural Attaché met current Iraqi research students. The visit concluded with a presentation by the Cultural Attaché to all Iraqi students in the University.

Professor Mosa Al Mosawe was the President of Baghdad University for 9 years prior to taking up his current appointment in March 2013. His visit has opened an important channel of communication to both universities and Government Ministries in Iraq.
