Former Vice-Chancellor Ken Edwards is returning to the University on Wednesday 17 October 2012.

Former Vice-Chancellor Ken Edwards is returning to the University on Wednesday 17 October 2012. Dr Edwards will visit the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences where he will meet colleagues including Professors Nilesh Samani and Alison Goodall. Dr Edwards will also visit the School of Medicine, the Department of Medical and Social Care Education and the Space Research Centre as part of his tour.

A former genetics lecturer at Cambridge, where he was Head of the Genetics Department and Secretary General to the Faculties, Dr Kenneth Edwards was Vice-Chancellor of the University from 1987 to 1999 and was also President of the Association of European Universities. The building that houses our School of Management bears his name.
