High Sheriff of Rutland makes visit to University

During his visit on Tuesday 5 August 2014, Air Commodore Miles Williamson-Noble, High Sheriff of Rutland, was welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Robert Burgess,.

He then visited the Department of Engineering with Professor Mike Warrington, Deputy Head of the Department of Engineering, followed by a visit to the Department of the History of Art and Film with Professor James Chapman, Head of the Department of the History of Art and Film, and Dr Simon Richards, Senior Lecturer in Art and Architectural History. This was followed by a visit to the Space Research Centre with Professor Mark Sims, Professor of Astrobiology and Space Instrumentation.

The visit ended with a lunch with the Vice-Chancellor, which was also attended by Professor Chapman and Professor Mark Sims.
