Prestigious appointment for Dr Andrew Futter at Norwegian Nobel Peace Institute in Oslo

Dr Andrew Futter, Associate Professor in International Politics, has been invited to become a Visiting Fellow at the Norwegian Nobel Peace Institute in Oslo.

As part of this highly prestigious Fellowship Dr Futter, of the Department of History, Politics & International Relations, will provide help and guidance towards the Institute’s global nuclear security initiatives, and conduct research into the impact of emerging technologies on global nuclear order.

"I am delighted and humbled to be asked to contribute toward the work of such a prestigious institution" said Dr Futter, "and to help raise global awareness of a new set of strategic dynamics that seem certain to transform the contemporary nuclear weapons environment."
