  • Dr Turi King, Reader in Genetics and Archaeology, has featured on an article for Seeker discussing Leonardo da Vinci's family tree - as Italian researchers claim that they have found two “relics” belonging to da Vinci, which may help in sourcing the DNA of the genius whose work typified the Renaissance. She warned of possible false paternity in his family tree, and therefore a potential lack of DNA match.
