Here's your chance to meet Summer School participants at the Equipped 2 Succeed Information fair on Wednesday 29 June.

Seventy students will be visiting the University for our four day Equipped 2 Succeed residential summer school and staff are invited to attend the finale event to celebrate the students' successes.

As part of our Widening Participation initiatives Leicester Enhanced Access Programme and the Realising Opportunities Programme, the students will be on campus from Sunday 26 June.

This summer school has been designed to help participants develop the essential study and personal skills needed to be successful at University and in their future careers. Through an engaging and interactive team challenge, we will be setting the students the task of profiling a number of people who have achieved success in their fields of endeavour. We are asking the teams to look at the attitudes, thinking and behaviours which have helped their selected people to be so successful and to identify some of these skills in their own personal profile.

On Wednesday 29 June, the work that the students have completed will be showcased at the Equipped 2 Succeed Information fair finale. The finale is taking place in Queens Hall, Percy Gee Building between 10.45-1.00pm.

Hot and cold drink refreshments will be provided for visitors to the fair and you will have the opportunity to interact with participants on their stands.

You will also have the opportunity to cast your vote as to which group you feel has fulfilled the summer school brief and has delivered the best pitch and information stand.

We hope that you will be able to spare 10 minutes to show your support to the participants, and for the work the University is doing to help raise their aspirations and progression to our University.
