If you’re on campus you may well have spotted that the Percy Gee development is entering its next exciting phase.

Percy Gee

The home of our Students’ Union is undergoing massive changes, with a new extension being built which will provide students with double the amount of social learning space, a brand new informatics lab and a spacious food court.

The new development will complete the modernisation of the Percy Gee building while connecting it to the central campus square.

We are currently installing a crane which will begin to assemble the framework for the new extension. You can watch the construction in real-time on our live timelapse webcam and see the Percy Gee extension start to take shape.

Brookfield update

The development of Brookfield for our School of Business is also continuing, as the first staff and students move across to use the site.

Bringing the School of Business onto one site will provide a bright, collegiate, healthy and productive working environment for colleagues and an outstanding environment for students and visitors.

Once again, we’ve installed two webcams so you can see development on the project progress from the front and the back of the site.

Campus development

Our campus development programme is a ten year project which will see teaching and learning facilities receive an investment of around £500 million, with buildings across campus being modernised and updated.

Look out for an information session coming soon to find out more about the long term development plans.
