University Ethics and Integrity Committee seeks new Chair

The University Ethics and Integrity Committee is seeking a new Chair for 2016/17 onwards. The Committee defines strategy and oversees policy issues for non NHS-related research at Leicester. It has a responsibility to ensure that the dignity, rights and well-being of all research participants and the interests, needs and safety of researchers are protected.

The appointment of Chair will be for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal for another three-year term. The successful candidate is likely to have established expertise and interest in ethics, including knowledge of external policy and its implications; proven leadership capability and a vision to promote high ethical standards across the University.

Expressions of interest should be sent by Wednesday 31 August 2016.
