The new sustainability report summarises some of the key successes and some of our plans for the future.

Put together by our social impact team, the annual sustainability report showcases the work we are dong to embed sustainability into every aspect of University life.

From Swift boxes, bug hotels and Bee Hives to solar power, electric vehicle charging and our Passivhaus George Davies Centre, we have made huge strides in putting sustainability at the University of Leicester firmly on the agenda, both now and in the future.

The report explains the widening of the remit of the Environment Team, as they became the Social Impact team, and looks at how the UN's Sustainable Development Goals have helped us to reshape the way that we think about sustainability.

Lastly, it looks at the future of sustainability at the University, including a focus on energy use within buildings (the eLEICtricity project, more on that soon), expansion on the SEED Fund, and a focus on health and wellbeing covering our new volunteering programme.
