In August 2012, the University of Leicester in collaboration with the Richard III Society and Leicester City Council, began one of the most ambitious archaeological projects ever attempted: no less than a search for the lost grave of King Richard III.

The University launched its Search for Richard III website on Monday 4 February to coincide with its press announcement. Here you will find all the information on the Search, covering the archaeological work, science, history and the research team as well as videos and photographs.
