Nominations for the Discovering Excellence Awards close at 5pm on 31 August.

Do you work with someone who has been involved with a research project that has had an impact? Or maybe someone who has displayed innovative use of technology?

Let's celebrate our colleagues who make an outstanding contribution to our University by ensuring they are nominated for a Discovering Excellence Award.

You have the chance to nominate colleagues for one of 13 awards with categories covering valuing people, team work, equalities, teaching and research excellence. There are also awards for teams and team members, along with a special President's Award.

Remember, all of our colleagues (in both academic and professional services roles) are eligible to be nominated for an award.

Winners will be chosen by a panel of experts from across the University’s academic, professional services and student bodies. The finalists will be unveiled later this year, at the inaugural University of Leicester Discovering Excellence Awards event, where we will be celebrating the innovation, creativity and dedication of all our fantastic colleagues.

Nominations close at 5pm on Wednesday 31 August 2016.
