Staff survey – join ULT in shaping our University-wide action plan!

We published the results of our 2017 staff survey results at the end of March and we hope you’ve had a chance to read them. If you haven’t seen them yet then you can view them on MyWorkspace.

Action planning is now getting underway and we’d like you to be involved in helping us shape what the University as a whole does next, as well as contributing to your local action plans (and on this point, departmental reports will be published later this month).

To kick start our work we’d like to invite you to join ULT members in shaping the University-wide action plan. We will be running five focus groups during May and June. Two members of ULT will attend each group and the sessions will be facilitated by our OD team.

Each group will concentrate on one of our five VITAL values and the staff survey results that relate to that value.

For details of when the sessions are taking place, who is attending from ULT and what the value/topic is, please see the table below.

So that we can keep the sessions informal and maximise discussion we’re going to limit attendees at each focus group to 30 colleagues. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. If you’d like to attend one (or more) of the sessions please email as soon as possible.

Going forward we’ll run more sessions if you’d like us to and we would welcome your comments and suggestions using our Yammer group - so there are other ways of contributing to the action plan if you can’t attend a session. We’d like as many of us as possible to be involved.

Thanks very much and we look forward to seeing you at a focus group soon.
