Science and SciLab prize for Young Scientists

Are you or do you know a talented recent PhD graduate? Want the chance to win a share of $60,000 prize money and be published by Science magazine?

Submissions are now open for the Science and SciLab prize for Young Scientists, a national competition which looks to give excellent young researchers a little extra attention and endorsement.

Doctoral graduates may submit an essay based on their thesis work and four

winners will be selected for this international award. The grand prize winner will receive US$30,000 and have their essay published in Science magazine and each of the three category winners will receive US$10,000 and be featured on their website.

The categories are:

  • Cell and Molecular Biology
  • Ecology and Environment
  • Genomics and Proteomics
  • Translational Medicine
