The University’s new lecture capture service, Reflect, is now available for all to use.

Thanks to Reflect, timetabled lectures will be recorded automatically, so anyone who teaches will need to know how to use it. You can also use Reflect to make other recordings, including at your desk.

Where can you find out how to use it?

We are running regular training sessions covering the basics of how to record, edit and publish your recordings, as well as two longer workshops on how to make the most of Reflect in your teaching. These sessions have been very popular so we have added new dates:

We are also running monthly workshops throughout the year:

Can’t make the training, but want to learn more?

Why not attend one of our 30-minute webinars. You can join from anywhere with an internet connection to see a demonstration of how the system will work and ask any questions you may have:

You can find more information on the Reflect website. This includes useful resources for both staff and students such as handouts, flyers and text you can include in Blackboard to inform your students about Reflect.  There are also instructions for both staff and students on how to use Reflect and tips and case studies on how Reflect can help learning and teaching.

Please email if you have any questions.
